Urgent support for people affected by floods in the colombian pacific
CENSAT AGUA VIVA - Amigos de la Tierra ColombiaPast 16th of January the Mira River, bordering with Ecuador, augmented its throughput causing the river to overflow, resulting in the destruction of houses and cultures, the death of 8 people and the disappearance of 22 more. This natural disaster happens in one of the regions of the country with the greatest number of conflicts related to monoculture of oil palm, among other problems of deforestation and impacts on food sovereignty.
